Maharashtra State Textile Policy

Maharashtra State Textile Policy is a state government subsidy provided for textile manufacturing units. The scheme covers existing units, or units which are looking for expansion, modernisation or diversification. The scheme is applicable for both bank financed and self financed projects.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Textile Policy

 

Following businesses are eligible under this scheme :

  • Ginning/Pressing/Spinning

  • Weaving/Knitting/Hosiery

  • Garment/Apparel and made-ups

  • Silk sector/Wools Sector

  • Textile Parks/Processing Parks

  • Other textile components etc.

  • KYC Details of Proprietor/Partners/Directors

  • PAN Card of Partnership Firm/Company

  • Udyog Aadhar

  • Partnership Registration Certificate/Certificate of Incorporation

  • Purchase deed/ Lease rent agreement for business location

  • Invoices of Machinery purchased (along with delivery challans)

  • GST registration certificate

  • Electricity Bills of previous 3 months

  • Loan Sanction Letter (if any)

  • Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) Certificate

Maharashtra State Textile Policy is scheme of Maharashtra government to promote textile manufacturing and allied units.

 
 

Q. What is the quantum of Subsidy ?

Maharashtra State Textile Policy provides a capital subsidy up to 40% for ginning/pressing/spinning.

It also provides capital subsidy up to 60% for technical textile/kinniting/hosiery/garmenting.

 
 

Q. What is the maximum amount of Subsidy that can be received under the Scheme ?

The maximum subsidy that can be claimed is 25% of the cost or the amount prescribed by NABARD whichever is lower.

 
 

Q. Can subsidy be claimed for any unit located in India ?

No, this scheme covers only units located in state of Maharashtra.

 
 

Q. In what form the benefits are received ?

The subsidy is received over a period of 3 years.
